Telqash, or Teoqash, is the westernmost language of the K’aavjo family, and thought to be the most divergent of the family. It is divided into multiple mutually intelligible dialects, the speakers of which are generally agreed to belong to the same ethnicity.
The term ‘Telqash K’aavjo’ is sometimes used to refer to this language, but most Telqash speakers disprefer this.
